Executive Director

I have always had a passion and interest in being #ForTheKids but never knew exactly how to get involved. As a 3rd year student, I am so happy to have found Cal Poly Dance Marathon. Becoming a part of this movement has been life changing and has made me feel closer to my community. Through this organization, I hope to give children the chance to become Cal Poly Proud.

I love being a role model for kids and helping my community. Cal Poly Dance Marathon gives me the opportunity to continue doing what I love throughout my college experience. Dancing at the big event brings me so much joy. I get to see my peers come together to help the kids and families in my community. It really does make me Cal Poly Proud.

I’m a second year studying psychology and child development! I joined dance marathon because I strongly care about the cause and have done similar work back home at Seattle Children’s Hospital. I love directly working with the miracle families and the Cottage Children’s Medical Center! I can’t wait to continue to advocate for the kids and see the amazing things CPDM will achieve this year!

Having the opportunity to work with such a passionate group of individuals for such a great cause is what drew me to Dance Marathon. Collaborating with this fantastic group has been such a great experience and I am thrilled that we, as students, get to come together to help those who need it most.

I’m a first year business student looking to get local organizations and businesses involved with Dance Marathon! I am incredibly excited and grateful to contribute to such an amazing cause.

I’m a first year Business Administration student and I’m super excited to be on board. I joined CPDM because I want to make a positive difference on campus and in the San Luis Obispo area. I applied for the fundraising chair position because I want to help CPDM and our dancers raise as much money for the kids as we possibly can this year

I'm a third year animal science major and have enjoyed working with kids for about ten years now. Cal Poly Dance Marathon is an excellent way to get involved on campus while helping a great cause and I am proud to be a member of the Executive Board supporting our local communities and children!

Dance marathon was a huge highlight of my first year at Cal Poly. It was something that made me truly happy and fulfilled, not knowing it would have made such a big impact on me. I am so excited for this year and actually seeing what goes into this amazing event and see what it means to be apart of something that is so amazing and #FortheKids!

I am a second year business major with hopes of getting involved in organizations larger than myself. I aspire working with passionate and driven people who have such a deep love for what they do. That is exactly what you get here at Dance Marathon! I am more than thankful to be on a team where there is so much motivation to make a difference in kids lives! Through Dance Marathon I hope to give every kid a fighting chance at their dreams!
